ContIAIntelligence
Under construction · for accountants and accounting firms

Less time sorting papers, more time advising.

ContIA Intelligence receives your clients’ documents, organizes them, detects what is missing and prepares the draft income tax return for you to review, complete and sign. It also prepares withholding tax, 220 certificates, VAT, the SIMPLE tax regime, ICA (municipal industry and commerce tax) and wealth tax, and helps with your clients’ accounting.

What it is and what it is not yet

ContIA Intelligence is under construction. It will open for testing with a small group of accountants before any launch.

Defined and built

Workflow and tools for income tax, withholding tax, 220 certificates, VAT, the SIMPLE tax regime, ICA, wealth tax, accounting and running the firm.

First version in internal testing

Individual income tax (form 210), withholding tax (350), 220 certificates, VAT (300), the deadline calendar, penalties and late-payment interest already work with fictitious data. AI reading of supporting documents is built; it still needs to be switched on and its accuracy measured.

Before launch

Tests with fictitious data, security review and legal review of data handling.

This platform is not available yet. The accountant files and signs the return: ContIA does not file anything with the DIAN.

How it works

From the client’s folder to the draft, in five steps

  1. 1

    You receive the documents

The client uploads their files or authorizes access to a cloud folder; you see everything in a single case file.

  2. 2

    AI classifies them

Identifies each document (certificates, statements, invoices) and assigns it to the client and the tax year.

  3. 3

    Extracts the data

Reads the relevant figures and marks them with their source page and confidence level.

  4. 4

    Assembles the draft

Verifiable rules calculate the lines of the draft and flag what is missing or does not add up.

  5. 5

    You decide

You review, correct, complete and sign. Every change is recorded.

Client documents

Where your documents already are

Designed so the client does not have to learn a new tool.

Direct upload

The client uploads their files from a secure link, from a phone or a computer.

Cloud folder

Read-only connection to a client’s shared folder. You choose which folder and you can disconnect it.

To-do list

The platform shows which documents are missing for each client and lets you remind them.

The cloud services to be connected are being defined during testing. Each connection is turned on by the firm, and the client learns about it in the privacy notice they accept before uploading documents.

What it delivers

A draft you can audit

Draft of the return

Lines calculated with the tax year’s rules, with the formula in view.

Alerts

Inconsistencies between documents, income with no support, and expired supporting documents.

Evidence

Each figure shows the document and page it came from.

Case file per client

Documents, data, changes and final version in one place.

Controls

Non-negotiable rules

AI reads; code calculates

Models extract data. Taxes are calculated by code using exact decimal arithmetic.

The accountant responds

Nothing is filed or signed on its own. Professional responsibility is yours.

Data separated by client

Each client’s case file is isolated from all the others.

Current regulations

The rules for each tax year are updated by version and are recorded.

For accounting firms

Built for 50 clients or 500

Teams

Several accountants and assistants working on the client portfolio with different roles.

Questions

Frequently asked questions about ContIA Intelligence

Is it available yet?

No. It is under construction. You can join the waitlist.

Does it file the return with the DIAN?

No. It prepares a draft. The accountant reviews, files and signs the return.

Does AI do the tax calculations?

No. AI reads and classifies documents; the calculations are done by code with verifiable rules.

What happens to my clients’ documents?

They are stored encrypted in your firm's space, separated by client, and kept for 10 years from filing (article 28 of Colombian Law 962 of 2005 and articles 632 and 714 of the Tax Code) or for the period you set. The data subject can ask for deletion when there is no legal duty to keep them.

Is it only for income tax returns?

No. Besides individual income tax (210), it prepares corporate income tax (110), withholding tax (350), income and withholding certificates (220), VAT (300) and the third-party information (exógena) files for the DIAN, and keeps each client’s tax deadline calendar.

Does it work for the SIMPLE tax regime and ICA?

Yes. It calculates the SIMPLE bimonthly payments and annual return with each municipality’s ICA, and the Bogotá and Medellín ICA returns with the official rate for each activity. Other municipalities will be added with their own tables.

Does it do the full bookkeeping?

It does not replace your accounting software. It takes what you already have (electronic invoices, bank statements, trial balance) to build ledgers, reconciliations, financial statements and the tax reconciliation, ready for your review.
